Within this scope, the project aimed to support the Vocational Qualification Authority (VQA) and Vocational Knowledge and Skills Testing and Certification (VOC-TEST) Centres, and to establish an efficient and sustainable National Qualifications System based on agreed standards with an appropriate system for assessment, grading and certification at all levels in line with the EQF. The project activities were organized in 10 target provinces, namely Ankara, İstanbul, Bursa, Adana, İzmir, Gaziantep, Konya, Kayseri, Karabük and Antalya.

CONCRETE RESULTS AND OUTPUTS

• A framework for the National Qualifications System (NQS) was established, and functioning of the system was operated and sustained in selected priority sectors, • Institutional capacity of VQA and VOC-TEST Centres were increased to provide services in a sustainable and coordinated manner to all stakeholders, • Awareness of the target group on NQS was raised and ensured their ownership of the system.
