BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT

Organisations need technical assistance with funds and areas like good management practices; monitoring reports; training programmes on monitoring and evaluation; objectives and indicators, etc. Therefore, the project aimed to provide technical assistance to the Ministry in the field of fund management to the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC).

CONCRETE RESULTS AND OUTPUTS

Throughout the COMCEC Project Funding scheme, projects submitted by 57 COMCEC Member Countries were supported. OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) institutions were also assisted with the general objective of providing solutions to the problems faced by Islamic Ummah in various fields such as trade, transport, agriculture, tourism, financial cooperation, poverty alleviation, and private sector cooperation among COMCEC Member Countries and OIC institutions.
