Background and Context

The overall objective of this project to increase the capacity of potential and final beneficiaries on project preparation and management as well as to inform potential beneficiaries about the opportunities provided by the Human Resources Development Operational Programme (HRD OP) and the general public about the HRD OP implementation and outcomes.

  

Concrete results and outputs
The project is composed of two main components: the ‘Capacity Building of Beneficiaries (operation and grant beneficiaries) for the Implementation of HRD OP’ component; and the other one as ‘Information and Publicity of the HRD OP’. Under these two major components, there are five result areas to be achieved, which are indicated as follows:

• More than 550 grant beneficiaries supported.
• Six grant programme valued at 90 million was launched.
• Five grant programme was implemented.
• Multiple government agencies supported for project development, contract implementation, grant management and monitoring & evaluation.
• Increased capacity of operation beneficiaries and potential grant applicants regarding ‘project and operation preparation.’
• Awareness of the HRD OP and EU and National institutions raised and a communication strategy and plan was developed.
