The employability of women has been a challenging issue in Turkey for decades. The labour market of women needs to be improved in terms of the existing capacity to design, develop and implement policies to attract and retain more people in employment, particularly by increasing the participation of women. Within this framework, the project beneficiary, İSKUR, aimed to deliver more effective public employment services particularly at the local level and to increase women’s employability, facilitate their access to more and better jobs and diminish obstacles hindering female participation in the labour force.
