BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT

Albania became an EU candidate country following the European Council’s decision in June 2014. The integration process is underway in line with the priorities set out in the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) and the EU’s Enlargement Strategy. The purpose of this project is to assist the Albanian government, its institutions and ministries during the integration process.

CONCRETE RESULTS AND OUTPUTS

Based on the findings from the screening process, we organised several capacity building programmes for our Albanian counterparts to support the alignment and harmonisation processes. A key component of the project is to support the government’s communication strategy for disseminating information to the general public and civil servants regarding the harmonisation process and garnering their support.
